The hotel was spotless and staff were all outstanding. The room was very good sized and with an impressive view. Unbeatable location, a short walk to an eclectic local-history museum. First-rate service and a particularly good restaurant, available onsite.

It was worth its 3 stars. After the arrival, we met host, who was excellent. Found Main Deck Lounge Bar with perfect drinks 500 metres away.

The hotel building is lovely. We could have lunch in Bagdale Hall set within 300 metres. Free Wi Fi in all rooms worked flawlessly
